How to Purchase from Brunel Hobbies

We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, EFTPOS and direct transfer to our Bank account. Contact us for our bank transfer account details. A web based secure payment details system for cedit cards (Visa and Mastercard only) is available.

Cheques or Money Orders must be in Australian dollars and should be made payable to "Brunel Hobbies". Note that goods ordered using a cheque for payment will not be sent until the cheque is cleared by the Bank.

Postage and Shipping Rates within Australia

Prices do not include packing and postage. All items over $100 ordered for delivery by mail will be insured unless specifically requested otherwise by the customer. Brunel Hobbies will not be responsible for the non-delivery of items over $100 that are not insured.

Note that items under $100 can be registered with Australia Post for about $2.95 which automatically includes insurance up to maximum of $100. Brunel Hobbies will not be responsible for the non-delivery of items that are not insured.

Brunel Hobbies add $2.50 for packing onto the postage or delivery costs.

For items up to 500g for delivery Australia wide the cost is $9.10 (Australia Post charge of $6.60 plus $2.50 for packing).

For items over 500g up to 20kg the postage rate depends on the destination based on Postcode. The cheapest rate is $11.15 (Australia Post charge of $8.65 plus $2.50 packing) for delivery in the Melbourne metropolitan area. Note however that Australia Post charges also by a volume assumed weight so a light but volumous item may attract a higher postage rate.

Customers have the choice of using Australia Post for delivey of their items or DHL and Fastway. Depending on destination DHL is often close to the same price as Australia Post or a little cheaper. DHL will also normally deliver within one to three days depending on destination.

Paint can be mailed to all destinations in Australia. Spray cans can be mailed within Australia but must go by surface mail and will usually take longer for delivery than normal mail. This means that we cannot mail spray paint to some destinations as they are only serviced for air mail. This includes Townsville and Darwin for instance.

Postage and Shipping Rates International

Postage and shipping rates are charged at cost plus $2.50 for packing. Both Australia Post and DHL are available. All items over $100 must be insured and trackable.

Paint can be mailed to most destinations internationally. Spray cans cannot be mailed internationally.

GST

All prices include GST (Australian Goods and Services Tax) at a rate of 10% unless stated otherwise. Overseas purchasers are not required to pay GST.

Guarantee and Warranty

All products are guaranteed and will be replaced at Brunel Hobbies' expense if defective or damaged when received. They must be returned in the original, undamaged packaging with the original receipt (Tax Invoice) for a replacement to be organised. If a replacement is not obtainable a refund may be made. A This excludes damage that is obviously due to mishandling, inappropriate use, failure to follow usage instructions, normal maintenance, etc.

Note that a refund is not obtainable if goods are returned because the customer has changed their mind. However, it can be exchanged for another item or a Gift Voucher can be issued to the amount of the item.
