A4X 4 Function HO Atlas Athearn Kato

A drop-in replacement decoder series for Atlas, Athearn, and Kato engines. 1.3 amp continuous, 2 amp peak rating, four-function (headlight/reverse light and two extra functions), 1.3-amp continuous 2.0 amp peak, HO "drop in" decoder for Atlas, Athearn, Kato, Bachmann, etc. The A4X features TCS exclusive, auto-adjusting BEMF.

This full featured, 4 function, drop-in decoder was originally designed to replace the early Atlas lighting boards. Since then several other manufacturers have adopted the same lighting board style making the A4X an excellent option for any HO locomotive with the large, tab connected lighting board. Included is our auto-adjusting BEMF for outstanding slow speed performance and hassle free set up. Also includes Quiet Drive for super quiet engine performance. A6X 6 Function HO Diesel Drop In

Six-function (headlight/reverse light and four extra functions), 1.3-amp continuous 2.0 amp peak, 1.3-amp HO "drop in" decoder with on board 1.5 volt regulated power supply for Atlas, Athearn, Kato, Bachmann, etc. The A6X features TCS exclusive, auto-adjusting BEMF, and an onboard 1.5v supply.

This full featured, 6 function, drop-in decoder comes with an on-board regulated 1.5v power supply for 1.5v bulbs as well as on-board resistors for LED's. The AMD4 is drop in for the Atlas: GP-38, RS-11, Dash8-40B, Dash8-40BW, C628, C630, B23-7, B30-7, B36-7, Also DCC ready version of GP-40, GP-40-2, SD-7, SD-9, SD-35, TrainMaster and U25B. The K0D8-C is a drop-in decoder for Kato N Scale F40PH. It has 8 functions with built-in onboard resistor for LED's, 2 onboard superbright, Golden White LED's with short leads. Note: Four of the functions (F1-F4) have onboard resistors for LED's and 1.5v bulbs. The remaining two hardwire functions (F5-F6) output at 12v and will need external resistors if you plan to use LED's or 1.5v bulbs.
